Focus Forward Online Survey Panel Review
Today I would like to review Focus Forward Online. Focus Forward Online is a online survey panel. Like other such panels your surveys help influence companies regarding all types products and services. Also like other paid surveys I have reviewed in the past it is free to join.
When you complete a survey your credit anywhere from $1.00 to $10.00. Payment is done via check only. One thing I like about their surveys is that they are not tedious, usually takingonly about 15 minutes to finish which isn’t long at all. One negative of Focus Forward Online is the frequency in which surveys are sent. I only get about 2-3 surveys a month.
Now what sets Focus Foward Online apart from other paid survey panels is the chance to qualify for Online AND Offline focus groups. This is a biggie because these focus groups can pay anywhere from $50.00 to $250.00. You can select when you register if you would like to be part of Focus Groups or not. Signing up with Focus Forward Online is somewhat lengthy. Your Online Profile takes about 30 minutes to finish and you have the option to complete your Profile Builders which will help Focus Forward provide you with more surveys tailored to your interest and hobbies. Below is screen shot of the member area.
I would recommend Focus Forward to anyone who wants to join a good paid surveys panel. A few things to note are:
- Note many surveys are sent out per month , but this is easily made up for with the chance to be part of high paying Focus Groups
- After reaching the $10.00 payout you have 12 months to request such payment or you have a chance to lose whatever funds you may have built up.
On a end note I was asked to take part in a Online Focus Group Thursday Nov 6th at 8:00pm EST. I was sent a email from the client giving thr focus group that I would get another email with the link to their web site to download the required software to take the focus group. The email never came. I am not sure if this is a mistake on Focus Forward Online OR the client hosting the focus group. The email also never ended up in my spam folder, it just never came. So I missed out on $75.00. I was not a happy camper. So this is the only blemish so far on Focus Forward Onlines record. UPDATE (11/21/2008): This was a mistke on my part. I did not reply to the first email from Focus Forward Online asking me to verify what state I lived in. So I must take back this is no blemish.

Online focus groups are the way forward for the market research industry. As long as the method is sound, resulting in quality information, its all good. Every one gets paid and every one is happy.
hope I see more posts from you!
