Newbie Affiliate Marketing

Hey! It’s the site admin here I Am Speaking has officially been online for little over a month now and I have put affiliate marketing and stuff of that natureon the back burner for now and put all my efforts over the last 2 weeks working on SEO stuff, improving my Alexa Ranking and trying to get as many back links as possible. Here is what I did.

1- Traffic Exchanges: I used traffic exchanges to get some exposure for my site. The exchanges I used were TrafficG and TrafficSwarm. Both are manual traffic exchanges and IMO are two of the better ones on the web. Both are free to join. I surfed each traffic exchange daily for no more than 2 hours over a 2 week period.

2- Blog Commenting/Forum Posting: I am a big fan of blogs. Blogs are great for information within whatever niche or hobby your into. I have probably 10 blogs bookmarked on my computer and I go to them daily looking for new post and commenting if there it is a good article and I have something worthwhile to say. How blog commenting helps you is a) after a certain amount of valuable comments you will become known as something of a guru on that topic, people will respect what you say and b) it leaves back links which search engines love. The more back links you have (you get a back link with each comment left) the better. Also when you leave a comment if what you saying is interesting most likely the reader will visit your web site, giving you more traffic.

There are many ways to find blogs within your niche to comment on but the easiest is using the Comment Hut software (see my review earlier this week). I wont touch on it too much in this post but Comment Hut save you valuable time finding blogs you want to comment on and even shows you the blogs page rank.

3- Buying Traffic: The last thing I did was buy traffic. There are many placing to buy traffic from buy these extra visit do slightly help with your Alexa Ranking.

Combining all these things over the course of the last 2 with in conjunction with my normal posting of fresh content I was able to improve my Alexa Ranking from 12 million plus all the way to 2 million plus. My goal is to follow this blueprint over the course of the next 2 weeks and further improve my ranking from 2 million plus to 700,00 or better. I will keep you posted in another 2 weeks my progress.
