work from home….is it a scam or is it for real? Well, let me start off by saying, I have been involved with work from home opportunities for a long time now and unlike a lot of other people I am not going to promise that you will make 15,000 a month. I feel there is no need to promise you something that can only be accomplished by dedication and hard work.

You will figure out the earning potential on your own.

There are numerous home based business programs being actively promoted today. I will give you access to some of the programs that are known to be for real and not scams.

Types of programs you will find on my site are: survey programs, informational e-books, affiliate marketing and a choice of a few other “work from home” opportunities. Some are free, some require a membership. It is completely up to you which programs you choose to become involved with.

There are  a few good paid survey companies out there. Daily Survey Panel, Opinion Outpost and  Survey Savvy are a few great free paid survepnaels I found to be legitimate. What I will tell you from my own personal knowledge is the best way to make money from the internet and work at home requires some basic computer knowledge.

I would suggest, finding a product or something you feel passionate about and build a website. Then, go out and join some affiliate programs, put your affiliate links on your website, and promote your website. If you can draw a decent amount of traffic, to your website, then you can more than likely make cash off of your affiliate programs.

Now if you don’t want to build your own website, find affiliate programs that offer a website. Then, just get your own domain name, a free web host, and put their site on your own host. Another suggestion is you can point your domain to your affiliate website. By having your own domain you are creating your own web presence.

Now, if you don’t want to go through the trouble of a website, there are still a few programs out there where you can earn good cash. You can get paid to fill out surveys; some are programs that require you to purchase a membership to their site, usually your buying a software or e-book that they give you complete reseller rights to. That means you buy it then turn around and sell as many copies as you can.

Now I have only done one site like this, and it was a few yrs ago and I paid 47 dollars for the program. Now, I was able to resell probably ten copies in a month before I decided to go back to work.

So, as I said before, the amount of money you can make will depend upon your level of commitment nothing comes for free even on the internet. If you want it you will have to work for it, but if you work hard the rewards will come. Just remember nothing good happens overnight.

Today I will review one of the better paid survey companies I have come across. Survey Savvy. I have been a member of Survey Savvy for a few months now and I only have good things to say about them. The surveys that are sent out are not too long or short, they are just long enough to hold your interest without being so long you just want to start clicking any answers to get thru the survey. My only complaint is when you start a new survey it opens in a new window instead of a new tab. Which really isn’t a big deal but I like to keep everything in tabs when using IE 7 or Firefox.

Survey Savvy delivers emails on a almost daily basis, they don’t send as many as a say Opinion Outpost but they they do send you a good amount. The amounts you are credited usually run from $1.00 to $5.00 each. Also something of note it is easier to qualify from Survey Savvy’s surveys than most other research companies, at least for me it is.

The user interface is clean and there is not much to do besides update your personal account information, see your referral link and look to check your account balance. Payments are sent via check to the address in your account information. See below:

Oh lastly all of the surveys Survey Savvy sends out are for cash only. They are not for contest or drawings. IMO that is a great thing. Survey Savvy has overtaken Global Test Market as my 2nd favorite research company. See the link below to join.

One thing you will notice on this site is that I endorse paid surveys. I only pick programs that I TRULY feel work or that I have made work first hand. Point blank. I am a fan of paid surveys and was introduced to them by Katie who runs a great WAHM (work at home moms site) called Katie’s Hugs. Paid surveys is just one of the things she discusses on her site and there is a good forum there also that is decently active.

Like I said in the Opinion Outpost review, never pay for survey list or directories. You can find them on katie’s web site. She has taken the time to figure out which ones were trash and which are worth your time signing up for. Another good site to reference is Survey Police  and Survey Explosion.

I will go over a few different paid survey sites but I mostly will stick to the ones I use on a daily basis. Feel free to know that if I have a site featured here it is legit and a good one to join. Those are also posted under my favorite link and sponsers section. I will first start off by saying you CANNOT quit your day job by taking paid surveys. At most if you join enough panels you can save up enough change to buy a big ticket item. I am currently saving for a 32″ or 37″ LCD TV for my bedroom. After that my next big ticket item will be saving for a AR-15.

P.S. another great thing about Katies web site is her listing of Mystry Shopping companies. Legit ones that is. I know my ex-girlfriend wanted to get into this but only found sites where you had to pay first to see the list this is a big red flag Katie gives you the goods without having to do that. This is my first official review so bear with me. I have been doing paid surveys now for about 2 months and the experience has been enjoyable to say the least. Most of the surveys I have taken have been at least slightly interesting and not too long. What makes it most enjoyable though is that it’s FREE to join! never have to pay out of pocket at anytime.

I want to first say NEVER, EVER EVER pay for a survey list or directory. You can find these on the web (Google is your friend), the hard part is finding GOOD ones. That is why I am here. IMO Opinion Outpost is the best survey site out there. Are there other good ones? Of course but Opinion Outpost stands head and shoulder above the rest.

What I like about Opinion Outpost is that they credit you for surveys you have completed instantly.  So there is no waiting to see what your balance is. Also you get a steady stream of surveys. You may not qualify for each and every survey sent to you but you can get enough in a month to make decent change.
